I have to admit though.that in the beginning, when I was comparing AC to GTR 2 I was like what the heck, this ain't even as realistic as GTR 2.but then I got to play on the Imola track which I have played a countless of times in GTR 2.and really, what I realized was that it wasn't even about the realism thing at all, I just didn't know the other tracks, brake point's etc, cause' after a couple of laps in Imola, I hit the right brake points each and every time and. How about road cars? Mods for road cars, are they good? Real? Is there a lot of road car mods? I find myself playing AC more because of the casual trackday servers The multiplayer isn't as active on RF2 and from my experience the average racer tends to be much faster. When losing grip in RF2 it's closer to real life, you don't feel like all control is lost and it's quick and easy to regain grip. RF2 feels fantastic and seems slightly more accurate than AC in terms of handling and physics, most noticable when losing grip and the FFB is better. Originally posted by Wedgewood:They're both great and I'd recommend owning both. So my question is, are there many mods for road cars and are they just as good as the vanilla game? I don't care that much about graphics, all I want is road cars, that sweet realism (That I've heared is the best it can get in this game) and that I can play online.Īlso, how different is the FFB between these games when it comes to physics and adhesion/grip?Īlso, driving with triple moniters, is it a fuss in this game? Do I have to download mods or does it work right of the box? I only usually like Vanilla games, I saw the car list on this forum and there are not that many cars that are attracting me. Now the downside is that it doesn't have dynamic weather.honestly I'm just trying to justify a purchase of this game but at the same time. I've been playing GTR 2 up until recently.I absolutely love that game.I bought AC a couple of days ago and realized how much more detail the force feedback has, not just that but all cars have different lock braking points in the 's absolutely incredible. The Miami track is, just like Monaco and Bacu, the original F1 track made smaller, with imagery buildings. The others are somewhat in the middle between the original F1 circuit and a regular outdoor karting track. The Grand Prix Karting Miami track is different from most other Grand Prix Karting tracks. Not laser scanned (because they are fiction) but handmade, which was a bit of a challenge with some tracks with a lot of elevation in the track and the terrain surrounding the track. These tracks are not a resized conversion of existing tracks but scratch build. No big runoff areas, but modern wide kerbs, pit not on the infield but on the outside of the track, not many grand stands but a pitbuilding which is also a grandstand. Grand Prix Karting tracks are F1 tracks with the layout of the original F1 track but the size, look and feel of real world karttracks. This is usual for a street track, but not for a permanent F1 track. There are people living at the infield of the track. Another special thing it is in a suburb of Imola. It is anticlockwise and, never seen on any other F1 track, the pit is, as usual for karttracks, at the outside of the track, not on the infield. It is a bit different from the usual F1 tracks. This is the Grand Prix Karting version of the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.
